Experience the largest
hiking festival
in Europe
Guided Tours, Bus Tours, and Extra Adventures
EURORANDO is the largest European hiking festival. It takes place once every five years under the patronage of the European Ramblers Association (ERA). The aim of the festival is to promote active movement, foster friendship between nations, and explore Europe’s natural and cultural heritage. The first edition was held in 2001 in Strasbourg, followed by four further editions, each hosted in a different part of Europe.
The sixth edition of EURORANDO will take place from September 20 to 27, 2026, in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge/Krušné hory), on both the Czech and German sides of the border. The centers will be the towns Boží Dar, Kurort Oberwiesenthal, and Loučná pod Klínovcem. Visitors can look forward to a diverse programme featuring not only organised hikes but also a wide range of accompanying events.
The Eurorando 2026 programme will offer a varied combination of organised excursions, individual hiking routes and a rich cultural accompaniment. Participants can look forward to group expeditions along the most beautiful routes in the Ore Mountains, which will take them to technical monuments and natural attractions.
For those who prefer their own pace, there will be marked individual routes of all difficulties. The evenings will be enlivened by a cultural programme with musical performances, regional specialities and themed events that will underline the uniqueness of this cross-border meeting.
During the Eurorando 2026 festival, we offer several options for choosing accommodation. You can either make a direct booking on a German website (mostly accommodation on the German side of the Ore Mountains), send a request for group accommodation for more than 10 people, or choose and contact a specific hotel, apartment, or other accommodation provider individually.
