By purchasing a tree, you will become part of a special tree-planting campaign in Oberwiesenthal. On September 24, 2026, a total of 2,500 trees—mostly silver firs—will be planted as part of EURORANDO 2026 and German Hiking Day. The goal of the campaign is to actively strengthen the forest and set a visible example of sustainable and climate-friendly practices.

For €5 each, you can purchase one or more trees and either plant them yourself on site or have them planted if you are unable to attend in person. The campaign is supported by the Forest for Saxony Foundation and the Saxon State Forest Service. There will also be an opportunity to learn interesting facts about the forest on site.
