Experience the unforgettable atmosphere of the Ore Mountains. You can look forward to varied cultural events including musical performances, theatre and traditional folklore festivals that will bring the history and spirit of the Ore Mountains to life.
There will also be local markets with regional specialties, handicrafts and souvenirs. For history and art lovers, there will be thematic exhibitions where you can learn about the mining heritage, technical monuments and natural treasures of our region.

- 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Demonstration of the traditional Mettenschicht (the last shift before Christmas)
– Mettenschicht includes a complete tour (90 minutes) followed by traditional refreshments in the former underground engine room: bread with lard and cracklings + mulled wine/tea + music and storytelling by a mountain guide (25 minutes).
– Minimum number of participants: 12 people
