What is EURORANDO?
Introducing Europe's biggest hiking festival
Eurorando is Europe's largest festival dedicated to hiking. It is organized by European Hiking Federation (ERA-Hiking Europe), of which the Czech Hiking Club is a member.
The aim of the festival is to promote active movement, friendship between nations and discovering the natural and cultural wealth of Europe. The first edition took place in 2001 in Strasbourg and four more followed, each time in a different part of Europe. Each has attracted thousands of hikers.
The sixth edition of Eurorando will take place on 20-27 September 2026 in the picturesque Ore Mountains - both on the Czech and German side of the border. You can look forward to a varied programme offering not only organised hikes but also a number of accompanying events.
