EURORANDO 2026

Eurorando, Day Five

The sixth annual EURORANDO hiking festival has entered its second half. Hiking enthusiasts from 17 countries are exploring the Ore Mountains and discovering its beauty, people, and history—all with great interest, respect, and enthusiasm.

And anyone who expected them to leave a mess behind would be wrong. The people who came to visit us love nature and know how to behave in it. Not only do they not create “messes,” but, for example, a group that was walking past Sauersack picked up trash left by others instead of mushrooms. So the trail is actually in better shape after they passed through than it was before.

By the way, as part of the festival, we've put together dozens of trip suggestions on both the Czech and German sides of the Ore Mountains, which you can use anytime. Each suggestion includes a route on maps, photos from the hike, and its difficulty level. In short, everything you need to know so you can explore them on your own whenever you like.
