Eurorando on European hiking federation
At the European hiking federation meeting in France we presented Eurorando 2026
On 2-5 October 2025, representatives of the Tourismusverbandes Erzgebirge (Erzgebirge Tourist Board), the Destination Agency Erzgebirge and the Czech Tourist Club attended the General Assembly of the European Ramblers Association in Mâcon, France.
Around 70 delegates from all over Europe attended the meeting to discuss current developments in hiking, trends, sustainability and cross-border cooperation.
Representatives of DA Erzgebirge presented the upcoming Eurorando 2026 in the form of a short video and a subsequent presentation. We are very happy that many associations and organizations expressed their wish to become part of the festival!
Eurorando 2026 will offer an opportunity for international meetings and joint exploration of nature, both on the Czech and German sides of the Ore Mountains. It will take place from 20 to 27 September 2026.
