International Youth Gathering – EURORANDO: Together on the Road
Do you know any young people who enjoy being outdoors, love being active in nature, and are open to meeting new people? If so, the German-Polish-Czech youth exchange as part of the EURORANDO festival might be just the right opportunity for them.
In the spring and fall of 2026, young people from Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic will gather at the Schullandheim Johanngeorgenstadt school recreation center to explore the region along the Czech-German border together. The program includes hiking, outdoor activities, group games, creative workshops, cooking, and discussions about Europe, friendship, and cross-border cooperation.
The gathering offers young people the chance to experience a sense of community, contribute their own ideas, and discover new perspectives. It’s not about perfecting foreign languages, but above all about openness, curiosity, and a willingness to spend time together. The group supports one another and grows through shared experiences.
The program is open to 15 young people from Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland, aged 12 to 15. Participation is free of charge. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue. Accommodation in shared rooms, meals, and the entire program are included in the price.
The event will take place from September 25–27, 2026.
Location: Schullandheim Johanngeorgenstadt
The leaders will be Silvia Schuck-Röll, Kevin Mendl, and Svenja Misamer. The event is organized by the DWJ Bundesverband and European hiking federation.
If you know any young people who might be interested in this opportunity, we would greatly appreciate your support and help in sharing this on social media and elsewhere. You can sign up by emailing svenja.misamer@wanderjugend.de or via the link below:
