Eurorando will start in the Ore Mountains next year
The countdown is on: Eurorando starts in the Ore Mountains next year
From 20 to 27 September 2026, the Ore Mountains will become the venue of Europe's largest tourist festival Eurorando. For the first time ever, the event will take place in the cross-border region between Klinovec and Fichtelberg, in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří mining region.
What awaits you
- 30 guided trails - of varying length and difficulty
- five daily guided day trips around the region
- accompanying cultural programme with concerts, exhibitions and a market with regional products
- opening and closing ceremony of a cross-border nature with a number of distinguished guests
- On 26 September (European Mobility Day), a symbolic stone heart of Europe will be unveiled, to which visitors can contribute a stone imported from their home country
Participation
The participation fee is EUR 10 and includes participation in the accompanying programme and guided hikes, a welcome pack with a printed hiking guide and hiking map and a wooden plaque entitling you to various discounts during the event. As soon as tickets are on sale, we will inform you about it both here on the website and on the social networks of the Destination Agency Erzgebirge.
Call for accommodation providers and restaurateurs
We invite all tourism service providers, such as hotels, guesthouses and restaurants, as well as other regional service providers or producers of products from the Ore Mountains, to join the project partners and benefit from the pan-European attention. Information, logos and templates are available on the website in the official media kit.
EURORANDO is a unique event for the Erzgebirge, which will revive the beauty of the region and bring enthusiastic tourists from all over Europe. We look forward to seeing you!
