This scenic tour starts at the historic Erlahammer Manor, a lovingly restored half-timbered complex that not only features impressive architecture but is also part of the Ore Mountains UNESCO World Heritage Site. A small exhibition on the premises offers a fascinating insight into the region's industrial and cultural past, making it an ideal starting point for an in-depth tour.

The trail leads uphill as you hike up the Silberberg (Silver Mountain) through open meadows, golden fields and shady forested hillsides. Those who turn around occasionally will be rewarded with fantastic views back over the valley and surrounding hills - the panorama widens with every step. On reaching the top, hikers will enjoy a moment of peace with expansive views: pure Ore Mountains.

The trail continues through meadows and fields to Pöhle. Here, the ski jump is a prominent symbol of winter sports in the region. Shortly afterwards, an idyllic pond with seating invites you to relax and enjoy the view. An ideal place to let your mind wander.

From there, the trail continues along the European long-distance tourist route E3. It leads through the village and uphill again on a quiet path, always accompanied by views of the forested peaks of the Ore Mountains. Through open meadows with breathtaking views, the trail approaches the town of Schwarzenberg.

Just before reaching the town center, the turning to Ottenstein offers a wonderful view of the rooftops and streets of Schwarzenberg. Those who choose the direct route will climb Schlossberg hill to Schwarzenberg Castle and the historic town center. The half-timbered houses, cobbled streets and cafés invite you to explore - be sure to set aside plenty of time!

Finally, the trail continues along the E3 to the Waldbühne Schwarzenberg - one of Germany's most beautiful open-air theaters - and then follows the Schwarzwasser stream back down to Erlahammer Manor.
