The route starts in the center of Přebuz, where it connects to the green ridge trail. We will follow the old path through the picturesque valley of the Rolava river. There used to be houses all around us; you can imagine how life used to take its course here. At the crossroads we are passing there used to be Rolava Tančírna, a dance hall which was frequented by people from the surrounding area. We cross the new bridge and continue on the path slightly downhill along the stream. The path is adorned by beautiful trees.

We cross the new bridge and continue along the path, which slopes gently downhill alongside the stream. Beautiful trees line the path. We reach the next valley, where the village of Chaloupky / Neuhaus used to be. It is probably the most charming lost valley in the Ore Mountains. Along the road and in the hillsides you will spot many remains of former houses. Just wander around the meadows a bit and you will find them. The highlight, however, is the campsite behind the forest, which is located in the middle of the valley above the stream. The Noon Stone stands here, a classic small rock  on which you can take a photo with the beautiful scenery around you.

We’ll continue up the Hřebenovka trail and turn left at Jelením vrch. After a while, we’ll cross the valley of Jelení potok and head uphill through the forest toward the typical Ore Mountains peat bogs, until we reach the site of the former village of Rolava once again. We’ll skirt the valley with its beautiful views until we reach an old paved road, which we’ll follow back to the starting point. Along the way, we’ll pass the new Poštovna restaurant, where (if hiking without a guide) we can eat, drink, and rest.
