51 🇨🇿 | Around Dlouhá Louka

The area around Dlouhá Louka is the balcony of the eastern Ore Mountains. From the local meadows and the lookout tower on Vlčí hora, you can enjoy impressive views of the Ore Mountains foothills and the Central Bohemian Uplands.

We will park at the Rozcestí restaurant and set off along a forest path to the west towards the highest mountain in the eastern Ore Mountains – Loučná. There are rocks here that give the place a rugged and photogenic appearance. On the way back, we will walk past the Vlčí hora lookout tower, which is worth climbing to take some beautiful photos. It offers a view of the entire rugged ridge of the Ore Mountains and the dramatic foothills.

Then we will cross the beautiful meadows of Dlouhá Louka to the edge of the distinctive peak of Stropník. With a short detour, we can also stand on its rocky summit, which is overgrown with forest. However, the beech forest interior will certainly make up for that.

From here, it is not far to the famous Dušanova vyhlídka (Dušan's Lookout) with its magnificent view of the Teplice region. We will return via Vysoká Mýť to the Rozcestí restaurant, where we can refresh ourselves and take a break.
